Morari Bapu is a renowned Indian spiritual teacher and Ram Katha exponent, known for his soul-stirring discourses on the Ramcharitmanas — the devotional retelling of Lord Rama’s life by Goswami Tulsidas. For over five decades, he has shared the timeless message of truth (satya), love (prem), and compassion (karuna), reaching audiences across India and around the world. With his simple yet profound language and deeply humanistic approach, Morari Bapu bridges tradition with contemporary values, making ancient wisdom accessible to all — regardless of caste, religion, nationality, or belief.

History:

Morari Bapu was born on March 2, 1946, in the village of Talgajarda in Gujarat, India. He was raised in a devout Vaishnav family steeped in spiritual tradition. From an early age, he was immersed in the teachings of the Ramcharitmanas, guided especially by his grandfather Tribhovandasji and his teacher and guru, Ravishankar Maharaj.

At the age of 14, Bapu began reciting Ram Katha — a tradition he would carry forward for decades. His style is unique: he doesn’t just narrate the story of Rama but explores its deeper philosophical, ethical, and spiritual dimensions in the context of modern life. He emphasizes universal values, welcoming people from all faiths and walks of life, and is known for conducting Kathas in temples, refugee camps, prisons, schools, and international venues — including the United Nations.

Morari Bapu’s discourses often focus on truth, love, and compassion as the essence of dharma. He speaks out against religious fanaticism, social injustice, and inequality, encouraging inner transformation through spiritual understanding, humility, and service.
